‘My dog ate my homework’, is probably the most overused excuse in the book. We’ve all tried it! But one very special kid from California decided to get creative and make a compelling argument against homework!
Little Edward Emmanuel Cortez took up the matter with his teacher in a letter he wrote. The curiously long letter speaks of how Eddie didn’t like doing school work during the weekend as weekends are meant to be stress-free. He also said homework makes him “mad and unhappy”.
See for yourself!
So my cousin and his wife got an email from their sons teacher. He didn’t do his hw so she asked him to write a paper saying why he didn’t do his hw and this is what she got…😂🤦🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/2eDh2IgB9X

The tiny tot shared some intriguing points. He spells out that he doesn’t want schoolwork over the weekend because it is a stress-free time to go out, watch TV and play games. Plus his “mom has been finding grey hairs not trying to stress out.”
“The real world jobs don’t give you homework unless you’re a boss or teacher,” wrote Eddie.
He declared homework was “not useful”, he pronounced the “case closed”!
The passionately written letter has won the hearts of netizens who swiftly reacted to Eddie’s petition.

He does have potential as a lawyer doesn’t he?
He about to grow up and be a lawyer

For his age, the points he made are pretty much valid. This is young kid defending himself although he knows Homework is an essential part of getting an Education. He displayed true skills of a lawyer.

One of the better descriptions of being a lawyer is that we do homework for a living.
