“I Will Be A Big Part Of Aryan Khan’s Bollywood Debut”, Says A Candid Karan Johar

Anyone who follows Bollywood even a little is aware of the cordial bond shared by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. The duo has given us some memorable and iconic movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’ and are really close friends. Karan Johar is also the godparent of SRK’s oldest son, Aryan and is very protective of him. As rumours of Aryan’s Bollywood debut are surfacing, Karan has come forward to clear the air on the topic in an interview.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, director Karan Johar has revealed that SRK’s son Aryan Khan will not make his Bollywood debut in the next four years.

“Aryan is my godchild. Currently, he is in Los Angeles and he has four years of university ahead of him. When he comes back, he is going to decide if he wants to be in the movies.”

Karan Johar, who has launched star kids like Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt also made sure to announce that if Aryan opts to choose acting as a career, he will be the one to introduce him as an actor.

“And if he (Aryan) does, of course, I will be a big part of it as a director or just as a guiding support. For me, Aryan being launched is like my son being launched. I will be this hyper relative breathing down his neck.”

K Jo also revealed that he feels like a possessive parent when it comes to SRK’s eldest son. He likes to know Aryan’s whereabouts whenever he sees an image of him online.

“I have held Aryan in my arms when he was six months old, and walked around the streets of London. Now he is a grownup, good looking boy with six packs and all set to face the world. I feel so proud. Of course, I track him all the time.”

This is not the first time Karan Johar has talked about his role regarding Aryan’s entry in Bollywood. He made it pretty clear that he will launch Aryan in an earlier interview too.
