Kangana Ranaut is veracious and you know it. She’s gutsy, opinionated and a fine actor. And, is back with another film that looks extremely promising.
In her recent interview with Mid-Day, Kangana bared it all and spoke about how she doesn’t wish to lay herself on the Hollywood platter to how she wouldn’t bow down to bullying.
Taking a slight dig at Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone for being Holly-bound, Kangana says,
Kangana is all up for World Cinema but wants to concentrate on home-bred films.
Kangana thinks men are intimidated by strong, opinionated women and took a potshot at the patriarchal view, while saying,
“Bold, stubborn women, who are achievers, are desirable only to those who are strong and assured. (For some men) it’s frightening to handle a woman who can speak her mind.”
But also adds that thankfully, that’s not true of everyone and that courage is often endearing and rare.
2015 was a year, she was mired in controversies and was in an ugly legal battle with Hrithik Roshan. Commenting on that she said,
Kangana admitted that she felt betrayed because someone she once shared a beautiful equation with did it with such malice.
But she never could understand the legal drama and refused to apologise.
During the hard times, she also found people from the industry who cared and supported her. And, our ‘Queen’ declares that she wouldn’t bow down to bullying.
“Prove what you are claiming and then I may apologise. I won’t stand bullying.”
This is as candid as it gets! Woah, Kangana!
