‘Walk To Office, Don’t Use Car’, Says Kangana To Those Advocating Diwali Firecracker Ban

Ahead of Diwali, places like Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha and Punjab have put a ban on selling and burning firecrackers. A few other states like Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have allowed the burning of ‘green’ firecrackers, reports Hindustan Times. This decision came keeping in mind the various adverse effects the smoke has on people’s health and the environment.

This decision has left several people in the country divided. While some argued that this is against tradition, others support the move wholeheartedly. Kangana Ranaut, who usually has strong views regarding such issues, expressed her opinion on the firecracker ban as well.
