After The Taj Visit, Justin Trudeau And Family Visit Sabarmati Ashram In Traditional Clothes

If you haven’t heard yet, Justin Trudeau and his family are on a week long visit to India! They’ve obviously making the headlines where ever they’re going but it was actually the youngest member of the fam, Hadrien who stole the show when they first arrived.

The five of them first went to Agra to witness the iconic Taj Mahal and soak in all its glory. The Canadian PM even put up a picture remembering when he first came 35 years go to visit the monument.

Justin Trudeau even wrote that it is amazing to be back to the Taj but this time with his whole family.

On the third day of his visit the Trudeaus are in Gujarat. The family visited the Sabarmati Ashram all dressed in traditional Indian attire. He is being accompanied by his wife Sophie and children, Ella-Grace, Xavier and Hadrien.

This is Mr. Trudeau’s first visit to the country after assuming office in 2015.

4. According to DNA, Atul Pandya, director of the Ashram said, “Since the Canadian PM will be visiting the Ashram with his children, we will be presenting books on Bapu that are specifically made for children.”

10. Trudeau also had a seminar with the students of IIM Ahemdabad where he connected more with the youth of the country.

The Canadian Prime Minister is here in the country to mend relations between the two nations and we hope it is successful. He is to hold a bilateral meeting with PM Modi on 23 February.
