32-year-old Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been one of the Indian cricket team’s silent warriors for more than a decade now. Today, he has achieved a huge personal milestone which has made fans all over very excited.
Ishant has now become the third-ever Indian bowler to capture 300 test wickets. The elite list of cricketers sharing this record from our country includes Kapil Dev and Zaheer Khan.
As per a report in HT, he reached this milestone in the 98th Test match of his international career, after trapping England’s batsman Dan Lawrence lbw. Ishant needed 3 wickets before the start of the Test. He picked 2 in England’s first innings of the ongoing test in Chennai.
