Mumbai Police is savage AF on Twitter (and otherwise too). They come up with creative ways to post tweets about citizen safety. Last month, they reunited a lost senior citizen with her family in a record time of 10 minutes. And if that wasn’t enough, when it comes to celebrities violating the law, they show no partiality whatsoever. In the past, Kunal Kemmu was issued a challan for riding a bike without a helmet.
Now, another B-town star has been penalised by the traffic police and it is Dhadak actor Ishaan Khatter.
According to the Deccan Chronicle, Ishaan parked his bike in a no-parking zone (outside the restaurant Bastian in Bandra). The bike was towed and the actor was also fined Rs.500.
This isn’t the first time a Bollywood star has gotten into trouble for flouting traffic rules. Sara Ali Khan also drew flak for riding pillion without a helmet. It is up to each and every single one of us to uphold the laws for the traffic situation in our country to improve and rival that of first world countries, don’t you think?
