Pretty awesome, actually. Our para-athletes have done extremely well in almost all international events. Perhaps even better than our Olympians.

They have worked really hard from the very start. They won India its first gold medal way back in 1972

 

And since then there has been no looking back. Collectively they have won 3 Padma Shri, 24 Arjuna Awards, 2 Dronacharya Awards and 2 Dhyan Chand Awards

Even if the ground they run on is not getting softer, the training is not getting any easier. And the competition is just getting tougher. India gets a good medal standing because they give their 100%.

 

To give you a faint idea, India’s record for Javelin throw at the para-athletic games remains unbroken for the past 12 years!

That’s the stuff these athletes are made of. They have made India stand out as a medal contender at every International event. All they expect deserve in return is a little encouragement from their countrymen. And that’s exactly what IndusInd Bank is doing.
