India Will Send Ramzan Home To Karachi As A Gift To Thank Pakistan For Geeta

After the return of speech and hearing impaired Geeta, who was stranded in Pakistan for 15 years, India has decided to send home Karachi’s runaway boy Ramzan, a 15-year-old teenager as a return gift to Pakistan.

Both the stories carry an uncanny resemblance to Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Isn’t it?

Ramzan who crossed the border in 2011 from Bangladesh after being repeatedly tortured by his father and step-mother, traveled to various states in India before he was recovered by the Indian Railway Police in Bhopal back in 2013 September.

Presently staying at Childline, a non-profitable organization, Ramzan will finally reunite with his mother after a CA student from Bhopal traced the boy’s family in Karachi by sharing pictures via Facebook.

As reported by TOI, Ashutosh Shukla, consultant to PMO, confirmed the initiative:

“We have sent a letter to the President’s office. We are hopeful that Ramzan would be in Pakistan soon. After all, we have to thank Pakistan.”

Even during tough diplomatic relations, the humanity organizations are playing a crucial role for the benefit of humanity.

Kudos.
