The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards was held on September 18 in Mumbai. Hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana and brother Aparshakti Khurana, the glamourous night saw the crème de la crème of Bollywood in attendance.
While the critically-acclaimed Andhadhun bagged top honours in the technical categories for Best Story, Sound Mixing, Background Score, Editing and Screenplay; the popular Best Actor awards went to Alia Bhatt (Raazi) and Ranveer Singh (Padmaavat).
Apart from the celebration of commendable cinematic work and drool-worthy green carpet looks, the award show also inspired some rib-tickling memes. Desi Twitter poked fun at how the event took place in India this year and of course Ranveer Singh’s fashion sense.
