Call it vanity if you must, but we (girls/women) make no apologies for being dolled up for no reason except the fact that it makes us feel good about ourselves. And buying makeup is mine and my girlfriends’ favourite form of therapy.
So you can imagine how much time we spend in picking the right shade of foundation and lipsticks for our skin tone, long-lasting and water-proof eye-makeup and just the right beam of highlighter.
So when Twitter user ‘guadalahari’Â was looking for the perfect eyeliner, she came across a hilarious review by a 25-year-old Shelby and decided to bless the world with it too.
Y’all I was really out here looking for a new eyeliner and look at this review lmfaooo
She deadass took a picture in her neck brace I am deceased 😩 pic.twitter.com/j9jHjAei06— avatar lahu (@guadalahari) April 24, 2018
Shelby, who is known for her witty Instagram posts, once posted a picture of herself from the Emergency Room after being in an accident.
Despite the car accident, which led to several minor injuries, the only thing intact was her winged eyeliner. So much so that she decided to leave a hilarious review on the product page. She posted:
When Lahari tweeted about it, it instantly went viral, of course. After all, who wouldn’t want an eyeliner that doesn’t budge even after an accident, right?
1. We can now see that.

A lot of people sent their hate to Shelby for taking a selfie in the emergency room. To which she replied,
Everyone’s hating on my review because I posted a picture of the makeup after the accident:
1. I took the photo for police evidence
2. But have you ever seen such a good eyeliner?!….you’re welcome

The cherry on the cake was when Kat Von D Beauty, the makeup brand Shelby was talking about, replied to her on Twitter! How cool is that?!
