Well, someone went to similar lengths (or more) to lay hands on an exclusive 18K white gold and diamond hardware bag.
The bag was auctioned in Hong Kong, and history has been made because it was sold out for $379,261 i.e. ₹ 2,44,53,801 (2.4 crores)
Jaws dropped and eyes popped! Yes, it was sold for that whopping amount and is the most expensive bag.
Now, you must be wondering why so much hullabaloo over a bag? Well, it is not just a bag, It is,
“An exceptional, matte white Himalaya Niloticus crocodile diamond Birkin 30 with 18k white gold and diamond hardware and it was crafted in 2014.”
Along with the bag comes a clochette, lock, keys, small dustbag, dustbag, leather pouch, ribbon, small box and a regular box.
Christie’s, the company that enables auctions for art connoisseurs, at its Hong Kong leg shattered all records. The bag has made a record-breaking sell and has beaten another Hermés bag (which was sold last year).
