Harper’s Bazaar Slammed For Its Headline ‘Alia Bhatt’s Film RRR Wins A Golden Globe Award’

As ‘RRR’ wins the prestigious Golden Globe award for the Best Original Song ‘Naatu Naatu’, who is to be given credit? I’m sure you are thinking M.M. Keeravani, the veteran music composer who composed the song. You may even think of S. S. Rajamouli, who is the writer and director of the film. Jr. N.T.R and Ram Charan undoubtedly make the cut because they danced in the song, contributing all the more to its electrifying nature.

You may also think of Olivia Morris, who played the role of ‘Jenny’ in the film and also danced in ‘Naatu Naatu’. But I don’t think you’ll think of Alia Bhatt at all. One can congratulate her because a film in which she starred as a supporting character, rather a guest appearance, won such a huge award. But I don’t think anyone would give her the entire credit.

But Harper’s Bazaar did. In an article announcing RRR’s historic win, Harper’s Bazaar used this as their headline: Alia Bhatt’s Film RRR Wins A Golden Globe Award.

What’s disappointing is that the article doesn’t mention M.M. Keeravani, S.S. Rajamouli and Jr. N.T.R.

Further, they added Alia Bhatt’s reaction to the win alongside congratulatory messages by AR Rahman and SRK, but the rest just go unnoticed.

Several people online decided to call the publication out for their headline. Here’s what some of them said:

Same energy.
