We all have that one asshole friend in our group who ditches every trip at the very last moment. Friends like these have ruined countless Goa trips, Ladakh expeditions and Rishikesh reunions from people all over the nation and it is about time that the Indian lawmakers make a provision to punish such offenders.
On a serious note, it is very heartbreaking to cancel a well-planned trip at the very last moment and so was experienced by a group of 10 friends who planned a trip to Mallorca, an island off the coast of Spain, but one of them, Joe Mcgrath bailed at the very last moment.
But instead of cancelling the trip, the group decided to do something no one else has done before (I guess).
In order to enjoy the trip with the already made reservations, the group found another Joe Mcgrath from Facebook and invited him to join the trip. Yes, you read that right!
The new Joe Mcgrath, a resident of Manchester, England, received a strange message from a total stranger, Dan Gobio (one of the nine friends) who asked him to join the group for the Mallorca trip.
And just like that, Mcgrath was on for the adventure of a lifetime, holidaying with people he hasn’t met even once in his life. He wrote on Facebook,
And if the pictures are any proof, Mcgrath had the time of his life with his new friends.

He also took a nice picture of the nine friends, because hey, that’s the least he could do.
Hahaha I know, I couldn't not go. It will never happen to me again! They were all so nice! Got a pic of them all watching the sun go down pic.twitter.com/zNuKpYTMqY

Describing his experience, this one tweet by Joe says it all.
Made my year!! I've got myself ten new best mates

So the next time your friend ruins your trip, all you have to do is some Facebook search and find a namesake. 😉
