Only one of the above is true. And I wish it was either of the first two.
But funnily enough, it’s the 3rd one that’s true. Saint Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh has created 11 new records – 8 new Asian records and 3 new India records for his recent film (biography?) Messenger of God.
He has directed, written screenplay for, given music for, edited, and become the cinematographer for his own movie starring, you guessed it right – him of course. One talented saint he is, isn’t he?
All this happened in a recent spiritual congregation to mark the ascension of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Two of the records he has been awarded are also recognized as Guinness World Records.

1. Largest Poster: by creating a huge poster of 338’6′ feet X 189’1′ feet (64258.47 sq.ft.) of MSG 2 – THE MESSENGER.
2. Largest Mosaic: by creating a greeting card mosaic made with 19,412 greeting cards, promoting MSG 2 movie of 76.3 X 56.3 ft (4289.063 sq ft).
Asia Book of Records:
1. Most Handmade Birthday Greeting Cards: On the occasion of the birthday of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, his admirers presented him most with handmade birthday greeting cards (21,751).
2. Most People In A Selfie: Selfie clicked with a mammoth crowd of 2,08,720 people by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
3. Most People Dancing Together On Film Music Launch: Most people (3,01,013) danced together on the song ‘Party Dhoom Dham Se’.
4. Most People Wearing Wrist Bands Together: Most people(3,01,501) wore MSG wristband with ‘MSG’ printed on it.
5. Most People Attended A Movie Premiere: Most people (1,95,879) attended the premiere of MSG 2.
6. Largest Greeting Card Mosaic: Largest Greeting Card mosaic of 76.3 feet X 56.3 feet using 19,412 greeting cards for the promotion of MSG 2.
India Book of Records:
1. Most People Saluting Together: 3,01,231 people saluting together to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
2. Most People Wishing Happy Birthday: 2,78,820 participants stood on one leg and wished ‘Happy Birthday’ to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
3. Most People Waved Hands Together Wearing Wrist Bands: 3,01,106 people waved hands together wearing MSG wristbands.
If sources are to be believed, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh plans to release a 3rd movie that will be the sequel to the previous 2 movies. If it’s true, then even Maggi will have less MSG than what we will have in our lives.
