Goodbye, Internet Explorer. I Promise This Is The Last Time I’ll Make Fun Of You.

Here’s the good news: Microsoft is killing off the Internet Explorer. Yes, you heard it right. Our most beloved IE will no longer be shipped with Windows. It’ll be replaced by a new browser which has been codenamed Project Spartan.

Over the years, IE has been the target of great mockery from almost everyone. Unless you’re forced to use IE 6 at work, you had no other relation with the dreaded blue little ‘e’ icon on your computer.

As a tribute, here’s one last time we make fun of the slow & steady IE

1. Internet Explorer is only used to download Firefox or Chrome. So shouldn’t the interface be simpler

That’s right.

 

2. IE, have you met Chrome?

How about NO.

 

3. What’s that on my desktop?

So cute but please get away from me. I’m scared.

 

4. Talking of getting scared, IE has done some good work too

5. But the question to ask is: if nobody uses IE, how do you know it’s slow? Maybe it’s fast now
