Pune Shocker: After Being Rejected By Wife, Man Attempts Rape On His Own Daughter!

The world we live in is a scary place. And unfortunately, it is getting uglier each passing day. I’m no cynic but not one day goes by when the newspapers are not screeching headlines that otherwise may seem unreal. Not one day goes by when India’s daughters are not molested/harassed/raped/abused. And that is just the tip of the iceberg of atrocities that are reported.

In another such shocking incident, a man in Uttam Nagar, Pune molested and abused his seven-year-old own daughter after his wife refused him sex!

Reports suggest the minor is now undergoing treatment in a government hospital while a complaint has been lodged against her absconding father with the Uttam Nagar police under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act.

 

According to the police, the horrific incident came to light when a top NDA official helped the victim and her mother who works as a domestic help. When asked, she explained her ordeal. 

“I took my three daughters outside on the pavement. When he asked me to come in alone so he could have sex, I refused to.”

“My eldest daughter was feverish, so I let her back in the house assuming he wouldn’t do anything to her.”

 

The officials investigating further stated, 

“After the incident, the suspect realised that his wife had approached us, and so, he ran away.”

Is there really no place for women? For small girls? The answer to it makes me shudder.
