When you quit a company after serving your notice period and join a new one, it is only natural to think that your old employer won’t make you work anymore.
But, as it turns out, that’s not always the case. Some employers think that they can make ex-employees work even after they quit the company or even worse, are fired!
In one such case, a woman took to Twitter to share a screenshot of her conversation with her ex-employer asking her to join a work call and help them out. She has already quit the company, BTW.
In the screenshot, we see how after she tells the ex-employer she won’t be able to join the call as her office has already started, the person on the other end has the audacity to ask her to speak to someone called ‘Saxena’ who apparently had said that she will be joining the call.
“Not my previous employer asking me to join a client call because they need my help….AFTER I’ve quit and served my notice period,” she wrote.
Have a look at her tweet here:

Responding to her tweet, some people online shared how they would have reacted if they were in her shoes. Some others asked her to demand money if her ex-employer again asks her to work. Have a look:
I’d just reply with memes

A company laid off my friend due to “everything being automated” and later had the audacity to call him back to help fix something.

What would you have done if you were in her place?
