Drunk Man Kisses On-Duty Cop In Hyderabad, Cop’s Savage Reaction Captured On Video!

28-year old P Bhanu, in his drunken intellect assumed it would be a good idea to kiss an on-duty cop. Spoiler Alert: it wasn’t.

A Twitter user posted a video yesterday of the celebration of Bonalu Festival in Hyderabad, where some young men could be seen dancing in the procession. Amidst the celebration, a man seemed to stop a passing policeman, hugged him and went forward to kiss him. The enraged cop pushed him back and slapped him.

The incident transpired in the Nallakunta street, Hyderabad. A police inspector reportedly said-

“On Sunday, the Bonalu festival was celebrated in Hyderabad city and policemen were deployed for security. Sub Inspector Mahendra was at a procession in the area. A person named Bhanu kissed him in a drunken condition.”

However, this was not a petty misdemeanor. An official case has been registered against P Bhanu, and he has been taken into custody. The inspector further added that, “We have taken him into custody and he is being sent to judicial remand.”

Bonalu is a Hindu festival celebrated in Telangana during the monsoon and it was being celebrated this past Sunday. However, in his drunken state, P Bhanu ended up booking his ticket into custody. He’s been charged for misbehavior and deterring a public servant from discharge of his duty.
