All Munna Bhai lovers know how the Galli ka Gunda attempted to become a certified doctor-by forcing people to take the examination for him, right?

Well, a 35-year-old man took inspiration from it and tried to attempt the same, probably expecting he wouldn’t get caught.

According to News 18, the man identified as Manohar Singh hailing from Rajasthan’s Pali district had obtained his MBBS degree from Tajikistan. However, he made another person give his eligibility test so that he can practice in India.

As per the cops investigating the matter, Singh had enrolled himself for a Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

FYI, Indian citizens who have a medical degree from a college outside of India have to pass this mandatory test to be able to practice medicine in the country.

Someone did appear for the FMGE test under Singh’s name conducted on December 4, 2020, at a test center at Mathura Road. However, his results were kept on hold as the photo on the application form didn’t match with the person who took the exam on the said day. Therefore, to clarify this confusion, he was called for verification.

“On Wednesday, Singh visited the NBE for the face ID verification. When the team verified the face ID with the photo taken on the exam day, it did not match,” informed Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast) R P Meena said.

Singh also gave an incorrect answer to one of the questions and that made the cops suspect his actions. Soon after, he was taken to the police station and his admit card, MBBS degree, and application form were seized, Meena added.

After being grilled by the cops, Singh said that he obtained his MBBS degree from Tajikistan and was trying to clear the FMGE for the last six years.

He admitted that a doctor had taken the examination on his behalf for Rs 4 lakh and assured him that he would clear it. The cops are now actively looking for the person who appeared for the examination on behalf of Singh for a price.

Life isn’t a movie where you often get second chances. Hopefully, the man will learn a lesson sitting in jail.
