Separations in Bollywood have often been in the news over the past couple of years. Several reports of our favorite jodis from the B-town parting ways after years of togetherness come as a shock to the fans.
From Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan to Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora, celebs who were once considered as the power couples in the industry eventually called it quits to their relationship.
Talking about the latest, beauty queen Dia Mirza announced her separation with husband Sahil Sangha. Sharing a post on social media, Dia told her fans that she and her husband have mutually decided to part ways after five years of their marriage.
“After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate,” she wrote.
Dia and Sahil tied the knot in 2014 after seeing each other for about six years. She also mentioned that though they are getting divorced, they will continue to be friends.

“We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other,” she added.
“We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time,” she said.
Dia also said that neither she nor her husband will comment on the matter any further.
Sahil too shared the same post on his official Instagram handle.

On the work front, Dia Mirza was last seen in Zee5’s web series titled Kaafir opposite Mohit Raina. She portrayed the role of a Pakistani single mother in the show.
