The way MS Dhoni has led his team since 2007 is exemplary and there;s hardly any other Indian captain who can match the achievements India has seen under his leadership. Dhoni, who has always been an ideal leader, both on and off the field, proved to be a huge inspiration for young Indian team who will be touring West Indies for the upcoming test series without their favourite skipper.
BCCI released a short video of Dhoni giving a brilliant speech to a young Indian team who are all set to take on West Indies and he was perfect!

It all started with a drum circle among the players bonding over music – an idea masterminded by Kumble. It followed by Dhoni taking over to say a word or two to the young team.
“We started this 45 minutes back and most of us I believe played any of these instrument for the first time. If we can have fun with this, we can have fun in cricket”
A seasoned sportsman, Dhoni laid it out to the young team that the series is going to be a very important lesson for everybody no matter they win or lose.
“Stay together, all of you won’t have a very good series. Some of you will fail. But, with 17 Test matches, all of you will be successful. So, it is important to enjoy the period which is tough. But, till you stick together, till you enjoy, I don’t think there is anything that will stop you,”
However, the most important part of the speech was when he elucidated what is more important than even the game!
“This is more of a life lesson than a cricket lesson. We are going to play together for the next eight years, whether we like it or not. So, we need to enjoy life together.”
A bunch of young Indian cricketers listened in awe as the great Captain Cool pep talked and wished them all the luck for their endeavor!
