3 Cops In Delhi Helped A Pregnant Woman Deliver Her Baby In Their PCR Van

Helping others is a noble task. And Delhi cops have proved it this time by their deeds.

3 Delhi policemen helped a 35-year-old pregnant woman, who had labour pain, deliver one of her twins in their PCR van on Saturday morning in Palam.

The woman had two twins. The first baby was delivered in a PCR van where a woman constable helped the lady. In addition to this, the pregnant lady and her newborn were driven to a nearby hospital for delivering the second baby.

How was police involved?

The pregnant lady’s husband called the police control room near 10:30 AM near platform 1 of the Palam Railway Station. The man wanted to seek help from the police as nobody could help him.

The call was transferred to the nearest PCR van and just within 5 minutes, the vehicle arrived and the pregnant woman was taken to Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya.

They are labourers. They live at a shanty near the Palam Railway Station.

Constable Bhagwati helped with the delivery process. ”It was constable Dharamveer who drove the vehicle amid the morning traffic and admitted the woman and her newborn child at the hospital. Soon after her admission, the woman gave birth to another girl,” said the PCR van in charge.

The lady and both her newborns are safe.

The PCR team will also be rewarded for their commendable work.
