“What Priyanka Wants From Her Career is Very Different From What I Want,” Says Deepika

Bollywood doesn’t see many friendships, especially between the women of the industry. Maybe that’s why the relationship Deepika Padukone shares with Priyanka Chopra is under constant scrutiny by the media. Especially since both of them are testing western waters, but in their own ways.

Deepika Padukone in an interview with Vogue, explained what the rumour really means to her and how unfazed both, she and Priyanka are.

 

She asserted how their careers are at different points and they want different things, there’s no reason for conflict.

 

Money doesn’t matter as much as good quality work does.

 

When asked, “Is it lonely at the top?” Deepika said, “I wouldn’t know. My focus has always been on the journey… on doing good and challenging work and enjoying the process.”

So poised yet so relaxed!
