Remember the handsome but spoilt Shekhar Malhotra of Rajput college from ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’? Well, decades later, after a few failed films and his ‘Bigg Boss’ stint, Deepak Tijori now is in news that he wish were not true!
Let me take you through it, but fasten your seat belts, it is going to be a rough and jaw-dropping ride!
According to a SpotboyE report, Shivani, ‘wife’ (we’ll see about that) of Deepak Tijori has thrown him out their posh apartment suspecting his affair with a Yoga instructor. She has also filed for divorce and maintenance, which Deepak can hardly afford. Quoting a source,
“Deepak barely manages to enter his house. Shivani allows him to use only one room.
Worse still, Shivani has strictly told the servants that they should neither give him food nor clean his room.”
Seemingly, he is mostly living in PGs or crashing at a friend’s.
Now, just like any other case, Deepak (Shivani’s second husband) took help of a counsellor for the same. Imagine his horror when he found out that Shivani is not his wife, legally! She apparently never divorced her first husband, making their marriage ‘Null and Void’.
While she has claimed that,
“I am a deserted wife. I cannot maintain my expenses. My husband is liable to do the needful for me and my daughter.”
Deepaks’ friend has come to his rescue stating that,
“Shivani’s marriage to Deepak is null and void if she hadn’t divorced her first husband. So why should Deepak maintain her cost of living?”
The same friend also maintained that Samara, the duo’s daughter, is not liable for any maintenance either.
“Samara is not a minor, she is 20 years old. So she doesn’t qualify for maintenance. As far as her relationship with her father goes, it’s nice but tilted in favour of Shivani.
Samara is closer to Shivani than to Deepak.”
Not to make passes at Tijori’s grief and broken marriage but this definitely sounds like a Bollywood masala movie in making. What? And how? And how long? Only time will tell.
