It is very easy to put people in categories. Nerds, marathon runners, the rich, poor, dark-skinned, party animals, sports lovers – putting a label on them is so easy.
But when we look deep inside, it is not our colour or caste, but our human experiences that bring us together.
Who was naughty in school – anyone from the marathon runner to the rich brat to the nerd, anyone can be.
Who feels lonely – again something that cuts through all the categories.
This Danish Advertisement made by photographer Nima Y. portrays just that. We may be separated by the labels and tags given to us by society, but in the end, we are all feeling the same human feelings.
And that’s what makes us one.
