Comedian Trevor Noah Faces Backlash For Saying Indo-Pak War Would Be ‘Entertaining’

Comedians often use real-life situations to inspire their sketch. However, while roasting someone counts as humour; it appears calling war ‘entertaining’ does not. Comedian Trevor Noah hosts The Daily Show and he recently attempted comic relief at a particularly grave issue.

The South African comedian spoke of the Indo-Pak conflict, taking heavy jibes at each nation’s soldiers. Trevor said he hopes India and Pakistan do not go to war, but it would be the “most entertaining” war if they did.

A video clip from the episode sees him remark how Indians like song-and-dance. He likened Indian soldiers’ war cry to Bollywood songs.
