If you’re anything like me you cannot start your morning without a freshly brewed cup of coffee. And while I make my own cup of daily goodness, it’s always nice to treat yourself to some well ground, overpriced coffee from an overrated coffee chain.
This cafe, however, took the art of coffee to a whole new level. ‘The Tea Terrace’ in London is serving coffee with portrait art on the froth. The trend is catching up and is called “selfieccino”.
1. The coffee features an image of the customer’s face on the foam.
2. The gorgeous patisserie lets you pose with your best pout and send the pic to them via a messaging app. They then upload it to a machine called ‘Cino’.
3. The photo gets printed onto a drink of your choice- hot chocolate or coffee.
4. And while my nearest Starbucks can’t even spell my name correctly, this quaint cafe in central London has perfected even artwork on their coffee.
5. The whole process takes between 5 to 10 minutes.
6. According to NDTV, the ‘selfieccino’ has been priced at $7.5 or Rs. 480.
7. The drink was launched on Saturday and has sold 400 of it’s customized coffees and hot chocolates since.

8. Needless to say, social media is buzzing with the new trend. I mean collaborating coffee and selfies together, what more does one want?

9. Here’s the entire process of how a selfiecinno coffee is created.
It’s almost like Instagram wasn’t enough to perfect that daily pout, we now have coffees to whip things up! And honestly, why not?!
