Chinese Airlines’ New Haute Couture Uniforms Look Straight Out Of Runway And We’re Gaping

Chinese-Airlines-Couture-Uniforms

There’s something beguiling about uniforms, right? Especially, of armed forces. And, after that, of airline crew and staff. Agreed? Like, they sure have my attention.

So, when we chanced upon the latest uniform of Hainan Airlines, we simply thought those are just ensembles picked off the runway. Which they are because they marked their debut at the Paris Couture Week.

We kid you not. Have a look!

These are designed by Laurence Xu.

The uniforms are inspired by the Cheongsam, which is a traditional Chinese dress that women usually wear for more formal occasions.

But, they have been modernised with western-style of draping and look stylish AF.

Well, this has to be the coolest airline uniform ever.

This sure is hot haute couture and we simply love it.

Their press release on the site read,

“The new attire maintains and adds a new twist to the previous generations’ iconic elements – the Oriental art-inspired patterns and gray-color theme that have always been an essential part of the uniform’s design. The uniform pays a tribute to the designs of the previous generations, cleverly updated with a modern aesthetic that incorporates popular international fashion elements.”

That is surely impressive and we are seriously gaping at the uniforms.
