Children To Visit Jawans On The Border And Perform Before Them To Boost Their Morales

While we will be sleeping tonight, the Indian soldiers will stay up all night and guard our borders. When it comes to serving our nation, our soldiers are no strangers.

Today, Smriti Irani, the HRD Minister has asked the children to go and visit the Indian Army on the borders. Not just to thank them for the services, but also to develop a better understanding of how they work and showing some gratitude for the sacrifices they make.

Here’s what she had to say at the National Bal Bhawan on the occasion of Children’s Day:

‘Our effort is that on January 26, we hold a programme ‘Seema Darshan’. Our soldiers are posted on borders. There some selected children from states should go and see how the security forces work. Today it is peace time. Art can cross boundaries to take the message of peace to the whole world. I ask the National Bal Bhawan that child artistes who perform exceptionally should go to our borders and perform before our army jawans.’

She also said this would be a good way to preserve our culture and legacy, that the Armed Forces have been taking care of day and night.

This will be the perfect way for the children to observe and learn about the efforts the Indian Army puts into protecting it’s citizens.

Jai Hind!
