Yes, puppies are officially the cutest of baby animals. I plead guilty for this bias but I just cannot help it! They bring instant happiness to you and they can drive away your blues like no one else can.
We have all heard stories of dogs being ring bearers and best men at the weddings. But this couple, right here, replaced bouquets in the bridesmaid’s hands with cute little rescue puppies and all this is for a cause. The pictures are too adorable to be ignored.
Meet Meghan Butler, a lawyer from North Carolina. Meghan’s eight bridesmaids carried eight rescue puppies instead of the regular flower bouquets! She told People magazine,
“We’re all animal lovers, so it felt right and we could not get enough of them.”
Instead of giving wedding favours to the guests, the couple donated money to the rescue shelter who gave them the pups!
The good news is that all the puppies were adopted (except for one). The bride said,
“It was really special.This is near and dear to my heart and to be able to bring awareness to the need for adoptions – that was the best part of my wedding. Besides marrying Brett of course!”
The photographer, a childhood friend of Meghan shared her experience of the shoot by saying,
“You put puppies and women together, and it was just a lot of squawking and squealing and smiling.”
Isn’t this like really cute? What better way to celebrate your wedding day than to help these adorable little puppies?
