The kind of value system that a person grows up with is largely influenced by what they were taught as a child. Children look at the behavior of adults in their families and are socialized into believing what is normal and what is not, what is good and what is not. It is from the elders that they learn empathy and sensitivity, but on the other end, also segregation and disrespectful behavior. However, this couple is raising their son into a complete gentleman.
A man named V Balaji took to social media to share how his son earned Rs 7,000 by playing weekend badminton tournaments. He spent Rs 2,000 from that amount and bought a phone for their cook Saroja, who has been taking care of him since he was 6 months old.
“Ankit has so far earned 7K by playing weekend tournaments. And today he got our Cook Saroja a mobile phone for 2K from his winnings. She has been taking care of him from when he was 6 months. As parents Meera Balaji and I can’t be more happier,” he wrote.
Have a look at his post here:

People online were incredibly happy to see the kind of empathy and love the young man has in his heart. They even congratulated the parents for raising him wonderfully. Here’s how some of them reacted:
What a beautiful child. Congratulations to you & Meera. You deserve to be proud ❤️

My parents taught me more about giving than about possession. This tweet fills me with gratitude and gladness. Thank you for sharing.

Absolutely fantastic sentiment. Parenting in this way is the only option to build a more fulfilling, empathetic and productive society full of people who truly understand the importance of human connection, collaboration and compassion. Big ups.
