Bipasha Basu’s Film ‘Madhoshi’ Had A Hilariously Sad 9/11 Attack Scene, Watch Video

There are several Hindi films that have tried to depict the horrifying 9/11 terrorist attack that happened in the United States. If one would have to name those films, they would probably think about ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘New York’, which were both incredible films. However, there was another film based on the 9/11 attack that not many talk about, and that is ‘Madhoshi’.

‘Madhoshi’, directed by Tanveer Khan, was released in 2004 and featured Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. At the time, Bipasha was ruling the industry, and so was John. But ‘Madhoshi’ failed to depict the horrors of the 9/11 terrorist attack and instead made the scene look hilarious.

So the female character in the above picture is Anupama’s (character played by Bipasha) sister who gets killed by one of the hijacked planes that attacked the Twin Towers. While she is on a call with Bipasha, she gets to witness the plane just before its attack.

Bipasha frantically calls out to her sister as she can’t hear her voice anymore and panics.

A video of this entire scene was shared on X by user Shreemi Verma who wrote, “I can never forget this 9/11 scene from Madhoshi, cinema peaked here.”

Have a look:

Not just this particular scene, but people online called the entire film a work of art. After all, one man undergoes not one but two plastic surgeries to win the love of his life!

Here’s a look at some of the responses to the video:

This film was indeed a cinematic marvel! 😛
