The Bihar police has never failed to grab headlines with their unique approaches to nabbing criminals. While some creative methods have worked for them, like making offenders buy helmets and insurance when caught, other tactics failed to make an impression, like hiring a tantrik to catch a thief. The latest news comes from the Madwa district at Bhagalpur village.
In a very one-of-a-kind approach, the Bhagalpur police arrived at the homes of absconding criminals geared up with a musical band by their side, asking them to surrender. They also pasted court notices on the doors of their respective residences and asked their kin to aid their surrender, reports Times Now.
All the band, baaja caught the attention of the locals immediately.
As per TOI, police head and station house officer (SHO) Pawan Kumar said, “We have warned the criminals’ family to aid their surrender within the given time limit or else action would be taken, including attachment of properties.” One of the criminals was Chandan Yadav who is currently wanted in multiple cases.
