There is a certain reason why people say, ‘let the professionals’ handle it. Well, this woman learnt it the hard way when she trusted her boyfriend to give her a makeover.
A make-up artist by profession, Amyleigh Weaver, 21 ended up in a soup when she gave her boyfriend the authority to trim her bangs, reported Mirror. Amyleigh, hailing from Halifax had recently shifted to a new area and wasn’t sure where to get her haircut from. “I’ve just moved to the area so I didn’t know where I should get my hair done. But my hair was getting long so I knew something had to be done. I only wanted my fringe done, so I decided that my boyfriend should cut my fringe until I could go to a proper hairdresser.”
So, she reportedly decided to trust her partner and let him cut her fringe with an electric razor but regretted it minutes later. “This was the first time he ever cut my hair. He seemed very confident in doing so and I trusted him. He got the electric razor and then started to cut away. I told him what to do and I let him get on with it.”
The woman who was ‘very confident’ in his abilities realised she had made a huge mistake when he said ‘sorry’ after finishing his task. “After he was done, he just looked at me and said sorry. I ran to the bathroom mirror where I realised everything had gone wrong. I went mental when I saw my fringe.”
When her boyfriend was done giving her the makeover of her life, she ended up looking like Jim Carrey’s character Lloyd Christmas from the film Dumb and Dumber. But Amyleigh decided to laugh her sorrows away and of course, never let her boyfriend touch her hair again.
“My boyfriend felt really guilty about it. I regret letting him do it, but at the end of the day it is just hair and it will grow out. I would not recommend any other girls let their boyfriend cut their hair, as it will probably all go wrong unless he is a hairdresser. I gave myself a good laugh though, it is hard not to see the funny side of it.”
Well, here’s a lesson for you. Pyar mohobbat ek jagah, never ever, I repeat, never ever trust your guy to give you a makeover unless he is a pro at it.
