This Guy In Bengaluru Got Arrested For Selling Drugs On Facebook. Not A Very “Smart Boi”

Almost anything can be bought and sold on the internet now. When the commercials keep reminding us to buy stuff or sell stuff online, it is natural to feel the instinct to sell some of our stuff online and make money out of it. Isn’t it?

However, this software employee from Bengaluru had a unique (and foolish) business idea altogether. Susheel Kumar Moosad, a resident of Ramamurthy Nagar thought, if people can sell all kinds of stuff online, why can’t he sell some marijuana!

This 34-year-old techie turned peddler created a Facebook page called ‘Bangalore Cannabis’ and gave his contact details on the page. He frequently uploaded pictures of himself posing proudly with various kinds of drugs and sold them online. People would contact him and meet him to ‘score.’

This infamous page which had around 90 likes on Facebook, featured many different types of drugs including cannabis, hash, LSD and other drugs. When the police got to know about this page, they posed as civilians and met him in Lumbini Garden on the pretext of buying drugs from him.

When the police raided his house they found six LSD blotter papers, one kilogram of Marijuana and a mobile phone worth Rs. 30000. The police confirmed that he is a drug addict himself and has been peddling drugs for the last 16 years.

He was also using his personal account to sell drugs. He has now been taken under police custody.

What’s funny is, as illustrated by one of his Facebook posts, Moosad thinks, ‘Jailing murderers and rapists is correct because they are criminal, however jailing someone for selling weed is a crime in itself because it gives people peace.’

Well, the jail time will show him some peace now!
