Arshad Warsi Showcases His ‘Chupa Talent’- Beautiful Paintings Made During Lockdown

The coronavirus lockdown has forced us to stay indoors. However, it has also given us ample amount of time to brush up on our skills and also learn something new. In the past two months, I have seen a lot of people turning into chefs and flooding my social media feed with delicious-looking dishes. And like many of us, looks like B-Town actor Arshad Warsi is also using his quarantine time to the fullest.

Arshad has picked up the brush again and has started painting his imagination on the canvas. He also shared multiple pictures of his creations on his social media.

Arshad had painted this one ‘sometime back when everything was fine.’ We sure can say that he’s a gifted artist.

Here’s another one of his stunning artwork.

This is his latest creation that he completed a couple of days ago.

Talking to Hindustan Times, the ‘Munna Bhai’ actor had said, “I used to paint a lot. In fact, I stopped. What happened is, when you oil paint, the house smells a lot, so I didn’t do it. Then we got an outside area, I started it again. It’s been my passion forever.” Sharing the idea behind his recent paintings, he said:

“The atmosphere, surroundings, all of that somehow gets into creativity, whether you like it or not. My last couple of paintings went into this state the world is living in right now – uncertainty, chaos.”

“So it’s there at the back of your mind and it comes out on the canvas. In my head, this thing was going on, and I said it what it is. It’s going to be there at the back of your head, there’s no going back now,” explains Warsi.

Here are some of his older paintings:

Arshad had earlier said that when necessity comes into the picture, your passion starts to take a back seat. Probably that’s the reason why the painter in him took a backseat while he was busy giving us some blockbuster movies.

Well, we are glad he got some time to play with colours and bless us with his awesome creations. Hope to see more of your artwork.
