Inside jokes, wagers and gambles in B-town make for saucy gossip indeed. A fair few A-listers are known for their funny bone. This time it’s Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in the news again. But there’s no bad blood. Just an abundance of jovial jesting!
An old interview resurfaced on the internet and it makes a big reveal! In an episode of the talk show Starry Nights 2.oh!, (that originally aired in November) Aamir Khan briefly joined Katrina Kaif and Ali Abbas Zafar on the show. He spoke of his rapport with the 35-year-old actress.
During a video call on the show, Aamir revealed he once challenged Katrina to a chess match.
“Katrina was very keen to beat me in a game of chess when I said fine, let’s play a game, when she said ‘Please let me practise first.’ So, she practised for a few months and then said, ‘Ok, now I am ready’,” shared Aamir Khan.
Aamir then shared the details of the condition he had set for her-
“She said if I win, I want you to do another film with me.
She said, ‘What do you want if you win?’
However, Kaif never accepted the challenge because of the condition Khan put were she to lose! Any guesses on what it was?
Hint..it involves another Khan and Kaif’s serenading prowess!

Well, Katrina had to sing a song outside Galaxy Apartments, Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence! Don’t believe us? Here’s what Aamir himself had to say about it!
“I said, ‘If I win then you will go and stand below Galaxy Apartments, below Salman’s house and you’ll sing Dil cheez kya hai, aap meri jaan lijiye….
That was actually the bet,” said Aamir.
He further adds, “Katrina was so afraid to lose the bet to me that she finally never played the game!”

Katrina and Salman reportedly dated for four years before their rumoured split in 2009. Though neither Khan nor Kaif openly admitted to the rumoured romance, they were one of B-town’s most talked-about celebrity pairs, reports NDTV.
The duo starred in a spate of films such as Tiger Zinda Hai, Ek Tha Tiger and Yuvvraaj. There’s clearly no awkwardness between the two as Katrina’s next is Bharat starring herself and Salman releasing later this year.
