Narendra Modi is currently in Malaysia for attending the ASEAN summit, an annual meeting which is held by the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations where they discuss the economic and cultural development of Southeast Asian countries.
But this time there was a major goof-up!
On day one, the Indian national flag was hoisted upside down by the organisers of the ASEAN summit.

What a shame!
Who else should have noticed it?
Organizers – First, the organizers are to be blamed. Clearly, someone from the organizing committee goofed up.
Indian community – The cameramen and press were waiting for the two PM to arrive. Shouldn’t they have raised the issue with the organizers?
Indian delegation – The PM travels with a delegation. They were not in the limelight to not notice the huge flag right behind the PM. Someone should have had the respect (and courage) to interrupt the shoot and correct it instead.
This picture tweeted by PIB shows the flag corrected. Maybe someone acted swiftly? We don’t know for sure.
@htTweets This was corrected immediately after or is another case of cheap photo shop https://t.co/nhgC9PSdXP pic.twitter.com/P50bvMFfSs

Narendra Modi – Although it’s perfectly normal for the person in the limelight to not notice the details of the background. But still, how can someone not notice such a big upside-down flag of our own country?
This incident saw many Twitter users pouring in their sentiments :
How Indian flag could be hoisted wrongly? What Indian officials were doing in #Kualalumpur?#ModiInMalaysia
