Bollywood’s method-actor Ranveer Singh has been spending a lot of time on the fields, trying to slip into the shoes of ace cricketer Kapil Dev for his upcoming movie, ’83. Singh who has been learning the basics of cricket from the maestro himself was earlier snapped on the ground engrossed in a conversation with Dev.
Looks like Singh is all set to play ‘The Haryana Hurricane’. He recently shared a picture of him acing Dev’s iconic ‘Natraj Shot’. The actor recreated the iconic shot, looking into the distance after hitting the ball out of the stadium, reports NDTV.

Director Kabir Khan also shared the snap of Singh’s rendition of the iconic shot that ‘India never saw’.
He captioned the picture:
“The match that was never televised… a world record innings that India never saw… this April the world will see how history was made on that cold windy day in Tunbridge Wells… #RanveerAsKapil.”
The veteran cricketer, Dev was delighted to see Singh nailing the pose. He retweeted his picture and wrote: “Hats off Ranveer”.
