Satnam Singh Bhamara, a basketball player from Punjab took the world by storm when he became the first Indian player ever to be selected in a National Basketball Association (NBA) team in the United States of America. The NBA is the most prominent basketball league in the world and it was indeed a matter of great pride for the entire nation to see an Indian compete amongst the finest in the game.
If you are a fan of Satnam, basketball or biopics, there is some good news coming your way.
Satnam has said that it would be a matter of great pride if an Indian filmmaker decides to make a movie on his life. He added that given his height and an interest in the game, Abhishek Bachchan would be the best fit to play his character.
As soon as junior Bachchan heard about Satnam’s wish, he agreed to do the film, but with one small condition.
Ok @hellosatnam here's the deal…. it would be my pleasure & honour. But my condition is, u have to win a NBA championship 1st! https://t.co/9u8W2gVKuq

Abhishek further added that if Satnam does fulfil the condition, he will do the film for free.
And if you do… I'll do the film for free. Fees can go towards any charity of your choice. @NBAIndia @NBA @hellosatnam

A documentary named, ‘One in a billion’ has already been made on Satnam’s life. The film showcased his journey from a small town in Punjab to the topmost basketball league in the world.
Looks like Satnam has some championships to win before his wish gets fulfilled.
