8 Exercises Lazy People Will Love. They Will Keep You Fit Too.

It is glorious to be lazy. It feels so good when you are just lying on the bed and sitting at one place for the whole day. If only you could employ people to put food in your mouth and carry you to the loo, everything would be perfect.

But sadly we live in a world where if we are lazy for too long, we die of heart disease at an early age.

The goal is to be moderately lazy for a long long time and not be extremely lazy for a very short time.

Longevity with laziness is possible people! Do the following exercises and be fit and lazy at the same time.

1. Sitting on a ball

Instead of sitting on a chair, sit on a medicine ball. Your core gets a good workout since you have to balance yourself on the ball. It is a bit tough at the start, but once you get used to it, it is the perfect workout for people who sit on their computer chairs all day.

 

2. Leg raises on the chair

While you are sitting on your chairs comfortably, do leg raises – one leg at a time. Another variant of this is raising your knees.

Get tight and strong thighs just by sitting! Magic!

 

3. Wall Sit

If sitting on chairs and medicine balls wasn’t enough, you can also sit against walls.

Just lean against a wall and slide down until your legs form a right angle.

Hold this position until you feel that burn.

Get up and repeat again.

Works out your legs like nothing else.

 

4. Pushups/ situps on your bed

We all want to do pushups, but we do not want to get out of our lovely and comfy beds. Who in their right mind gets out of the bed? You know what? Do your pushups and situps on the bed.

As the bed is soft, your body will struggle to stabilize the body, making the workout much more effective.

 

5. Floor presses and stomach crunches

If you are too lazy to do even the leg raises I have something for you too. When you are sitting on your chair, just press your legs against the floor. It flexes the muscles in your leg.

Then do stomach crunches where you exhale and flex your abs.

Repeat.

 

6. Phone walks

The only time we actually get off our butts is when we are on the phone.

The next time you are talking on the phone with your bae, just go for a long walk.

Walking is good for you, and so is talking to your bae. Do them both for a healthy mind and body.

 

7. One song runs

Who wants to run 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers? You can instead take your favorite song and run for the duration it plays.

4-5 minutes of running – that’s it. The song will keep your mood upbeat. You can choose to run to the next song but start with just one in the beginning.

 

8. Bicep curls

The only conventional workout in this list, doing bicep curls is the best workout you can do while you are sitting down. There is nothing to learn – no special technique. Just curl away with a dumbell.

It gives you good biceps – sitting down.
