A lot of you must have gotten messages on WhatsApp, reminding you that it is Engineer’s Day today. Otherwise, almost everyone might just go through the day without remembering it. Also, blame Google for not coming out with a doodle.
We celebrate Engineers’ Day in Mr. Visvesvaraya’s memory. He was an eminent engineer pre and post-British era. His contributions to the public good earned him a knighthood and India’s highest civilian honor – the Bharat Ratna.
