If Acharya Balakrishna is a billionaire, it makes you wonder about Baba Ramdev? Well, not half as much as you’d expect. According to Financial express, 94% of Patanjali is owned by Acharya Balakrishna.

Turns out that Baba Ramdev is probably just a face of Patanjali or maybe not.

Patanjali was launched by Baba Ramdev and Balakrishna 10 years ago and today they sell more than 500 products under the brand name.

Speaking about the time he started Balakrishna speaks to financial express, “I had to take Rs 50-60 crore personal loan. Prior to this, I did not even have a personal account in a bank.”

According to Hurun India Rich List, Acharya Balakrishna owns a wealth of whopping Rs. 25, 600 crore ($ 3.8 billion), making him one of the richest men in the country.
