Virat Kohli recently bagged the top spot in Forbes’ 2019 Celebrity 100 list and the 23rd spot in the Instagram Rich List 2019. But rankings, sports records, and captaincy aside, it is when he interacts with kids that he truly charms his way into our hearts.
Earlier, he enjoyed a game of gully cricket with children in Indore and indulged his 7-year-old fan who offered to give his own autograph!
According to The Indian Express, ahead of Christmas, the cricketer surprised the kids at the ‘Children’s Shelter Home’ in Kolkata and delivered gifts from their wishlist while disguised as Santa Claus. After the distribution of presents, the kids were informed that both Superman and Spiderman were on leave and they could meet Virat Kohli if they wanted to. To this idea, there was a resounding ‘yes’!
Yahoo News quoted the skipper saying,
“These moments are really special to me. All these kids cheer for us throughout the year and I had a great time bringing joy to all these kids. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you.”
This heartwarming video had everyone tearing up because the joy on the kids’ faces upon realizing that Virat Kohli was in their midst was too pure for words.
A gr8 gift… Just watching it gives us joy and pleasure, surely virat must have enjoyed it a lottt
