Video Shows Team India Captain Virat Kohli Playing Gully Cricket With Kids In Indore

As kids, a lot of us enjoyed playing gully cricket on lazy Sunday mornings. Now, imagine playing cricket with the captain of the Indian Cricket team! Yes, that happened. Indian Captain Virat Kohli was seen playing gully cricket with children in Indore. According to The Hindu, Kohli, who was rested for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh which India won 2-1, will lead the side for the two-match Test series beginning on Thursday.

Kohli was spotted taking throwdowns not from his teammates but from kids during a gully cricket session in Indore. In a video posted on Instagram, the Indian cricket team skipper is seen hitting big shots as the kids’ bowl for him.

Dressed in jeans and a casual shirt, Kohli was captured during an ad shoot, which he and the kids were a part of. The shoot that happened in the Bicholi Mardana area in Indore, was a fun and memorable outing for the children.

Kohli’s fans retweeted the video expressing their happiness to see the cricket star relive his childhood days. Some of them even called the video an early Children’s day gift from Kohli.

However, this is not the first time an Indian cricketer was seen enjoying gully cricket. In the recent past, Rohit Sharma surprised his fans as he played cricket with them on the streets. Last year, before Sharma slammed his 21st ODI against West Indies, he was spotted playing gully cricket a day before the match in Mumbai. Rohit’s fans were taken aback by his humbleness and attitude.

It’s these little things that always count. Don’t you agree?
