Just two days ago, proud daddy R Madhavan posted a video of his son Vedaant Madhavan wearing a silver medal for India at the Danish Open in Copenhagen in 1500m ‘Freestyle’.

Well, the 16-year-old acclaimed international-level swimmer has yet again brought India to the center stage and this time by winning a gold medal in the 800m men freestyle swimming event in the same international competition.

The ‘3 Idiots’ actor shared the happy news of his son’s winning streak by posting the video from the felicitation ceremony. The 51-year-old dad wrote that he is ‘overwhelmed and humbled’ by Vedaant’s feat.

Vedaant clinched the gold in 8:17.28 and bettered his time by 11:40 secs to step ahead of swimmer Alexander L Bjorn.

Celebs and people online showered love on Vedaant for bringing home the accolade.

Apart from him, India’s Sajan Prakash who stands 5th in ‘A Finals’ and clocked 54.14 in 100m Butterfly, and Tanish George Mathew, who stands 1st in ‘C Finals’ and clocked 56.44 in 100m Butterfly, have made India proud in Day 3 of Danish Open 2022.

So proud of these lads. Godspeed!
