Bengaluru Family Finally Reunites With Their Stolen Alaskan Malamute Worth ₹8 Crores

The owner of Cadaboms Kennels and also the president of the Indian Dog Breeders’ Association, Satish, had imported an Alaskan Malamute from China a couple of years ago and named her ‘Samsung’. The furry dog that resembles Siberian Husky was bought at the cost of Rs. 8 crore by Satish. He apparently owns several canines from different breeds.

“I imported Samsung from China for Rs 8 crore, two years ago when she was a one-year-old pup,” Satish told Banglore Mirror. Samsung used to live with Satish during the initial days.

A brother-sister duo reportedly visited Samsung at Satish’s place every day to play with her. Looking at their bond with Samsung, Satish decided to give the dog to the school-going children.

But he had one condition – when Samsung gives birth to pups they should keep only one of them and handover the remaining pups to him.

Samsung moved with the children’s family in Hanumanthanagar in the city. On his birthday, November 26, Satish wanted to spend time with all his doggos and throw a party for them. But when he asked the family to bring Samsung home they said that she had gone to a relative’s house in Electronic City.

“On December 21, there was a program scheduled for me to attend as chief guest. The program was at the St. Joseph’s college and I had to take my best breeds of dog with me,” Sathish said. When he asked for the dog the family once again gave a lame excuse. “When I sternly demanded to know what had happened to Samsung, the father of the children told me that the dog had been stolen.”

The father of the children told Satish that the kids were afraid to let him know about the stolen dog as they thought he would be angry and disappointed. Upon reaching their house, Satish came to know that the dog was leashed outside the house with a rope and somebody had cut down the rope to steal away the dog.

He asked the family to file a complaint with the police immediately and posted pictures of Samsung on social media with a reward of Rs. 1 lakh for anyone who finds it. Cops too began looking for the dog in the city.

Days later, Hans India reported that the dog has been found. Satish also claims that a person familiar to him or to the dog’s adoptive family was behind the kidnapping of Samsung.

Nevertheless, we are happy that the owner has finally reunited with his doggo!
