Son Allegedly Punches Mom For Hiding Toilet Paper From Him Amid COVID-19 Lockdown

The coronavirus lockdown has eventually led to an increase in the number of domestic violence cases in different parts of the world. Families are surely spending quality time together but the shortage of essential items and differences in opinions might lead to arguments.

In one such argument over toilet paper, a California man allegedly punched his mother, reports CNN.

As per reports, the cops received a call reporting a certain family dispute at 3 a.m in Saugus. On investigation, the cops found out that the man had accused his mother of hiding toilet paper. His mother accepted it and said that her son was using too much of it, so she hid it. In a rage, the son punched his mother.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Shirley Miller said, “This is the first arrest I’ve heard of that started out over an argument over toilet paper.” The mother has denied any medical treatment, reports NBC.
