Ever since people started spending a majority of time in their kitchen amid the coronavirus lockdown, the internet has been flooded with scores of bizarre dishes. IMO, people went way too far with their experimental cooking when they came up with ‘Palak Paneer Idli’, ‘Chocolate Maggi’ and ‘Nutella Biryani’, matlab kyu bhai kyu?
And among the array of such weird food combinations, yet another has taken the internet by storm. Recently, a Twitter user posted a video of a man making a ‘Red Sauce Pasta Dosa’ with oodles of cheese.
In a video shared by RDX, one can see the cook making the ‘South India meets Italy’ fusion dish. He begins by pouring the batter into a hot skillet. He then adds some veggies, ketchup, mayonnaise and cooked macaroni onto it.
And then, he tops the ‘Pasta Dosa’ with a whole lot of cheese.
Take a look at the video here:

This seems for the ever-confused person who can't decide whether to have a South Indian dosa,
or an Italian pasta or Chilla or something chinese. Sabko milao aur kha jao type..🤣🤣Personally a big 👎 from me!

Why only Tamilians feel angry about it? I am non Tamil and feel bad that the preparation which is beautiful in its original form is being spoiled like this. Sad. This is not an invention or even experiment it is bad understanding and bad taste.

Apparently, there are a lot of joints across India that sell dosa with unusual filling.
Bengaluru has plenty³ of such Dosa stalls… Done of them call themselves "99 variety Dosa".
To be honest, taste is a subjective matter, to each their own.
That apart, there's nothing fancy about these. The taste doesn't blend well. I could barely distinguish the ingredients.

I am a pasta lover and you can easily call me a dosa addict, but trying this combo will definitely be a challenging task for me. What about you?
